LexisNexis To Pay $1.3M To Settle Employment Report Suit

Law360, New York (April 15, 2013, 1:26 PM EDT) -- LexisNexis Screening Solutions Inc. agreed Friday to hand over more than $1.3 million to settle a Fair Credit Reporting Act class action in Georgia federal court accusing the company of failing to quickly notify thousands of people about negative background reports it supplied to their potential employers.
