Dish Sanctioned For Blocking Discovery In Telemarketing Suit

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 4:19 PM EDT) -- A federal judge overseeing the federal government’s suit against Dish Network LLC accusing it of violating telemarketing sales rules by placing unwanted calls to millions of consumers said Wednesday that the satellite broadcaster has been “evasive” and “obstructive” during discovery, and sanctioned it.
