Penguin Can't Get Jury Trial In States' E-Book Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 6:31 PM EDT) -- Penguin Group USA Inc. must take part in a bench trial of claims that Apple Inc. helped publishers fix e-book prices, a New York federal judge ruled Wednesday, saying the publisher forfeited its jury trial rights in a damages dispute with several states.
