Former Playboy Veep's $1M Bonus Pool Suit Gets Trimmed

Law360, New York (April 26, 2013, 1:50 PM EDT) -- Playboy Enterprises Inc. convinced a California federal judge Wednesday to cut claims from a former vice president's suit accusing it of terminating her for blowing the whistle on company executives' push for a $1 million bonus pool by skirting internal accounting controls.

U.S. District Judge Margaret Morrow partly granted the magazine publisher's bid to upend certain claims by Catherine Zulfer, a former senior vice president who had worked for the magazine for three decades before she was laid off in 2011.
