Miami Club Accuses Investor Of Sabotage To Help Competitor

Law360, Miami (April 29, 2013, 8:10 PM EDT) -- The owners of a Miami Beach nightclub last week sued billionaire real estate developer Jeffrey Soffer for allegedly using his 50 percent interest in the club to sabotage it in order to benefit Soffer's own, competing club.

In a complaint filed Thursday in Florida's Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Unbelievable Ventures LLC and Amnesia Ventures LLC accused Soffer of mismanaging their South Beach nightclub Story, formerly known as Amnesia, for the purpose of drawing business to his own club, LIV.
