GAO Nixes Protest Over $37M Kennedy Space Center Contract

Law360, New York (April 30, 2013, 10:18 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Tuesday denied a small business' protest over a $37 million contract to support NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center, finding NASA had not treated the business unfairly by choosing a more expensive but more experienced contractor.

Unispec Enterprises Inc. had argued that NASA favored winning bidder Wichita Tribal Enterprises LLC  when it evaluated the contractors' past performance and technical approach.
