Face-Off In Antitrust Suit Over Warhol Portrait

Law360, New York (January 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A film producer who claims to own an Andy Warhol painting asserts he has produced sufficient evidence to allow a proposed antitrust class action against Warhol's estate and other affiliated entities to move forward.

Joe Simon-Whelan on Thursday responded to the Andy Warhol-affiliated entities' motion to dismiss the case in a New York federal court, claiming that he has pleaded “ample” facts to push the case forward.
