S. Korea Antitrust Watchdog Nears End Of Google Probe

Law360, New York (May 3, 2013, 4:45 PM EDT) -- Korea's antitrust watchdog is reportedly nearing the end of its investigation into Google Inc. based on complaints from two rival search engines that the Internet giant was forcing mobile phone makers to preload its applications on their devices.

Korea's Fair Trade Commission is expected to lay out the results of its two-year-old investigation into Google soon, news agency Yonhap reported Friday citing unnamed industry sources.
