US Trustee Calls Foul On Atlantic City Casino's Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (May 8, 2013, 6:51 PM EDT) -- Hopes for a speedy exit out of Chapter 11 for Revel AC Inc. may have hit a snag Tuesday as the U.S. Trustee’s Office objected to the Atlantic City casino operator’s bankruptcy plan, arguing that it shields too many parties from liability.

U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis filed her objection in New Jersey bankruptcy court, maintaining that the list of entities that get a free pass in Revel's prepackaged Chapter 11 plan needs to be substantially whittled down.
