$950M Plan For NYC Four Seasons Gets Financing Kick-Start

Law360, New York (May 15, 2013, 5:30 PM EDT) -- A long-delayed plan by World Trade Center developer Silverstein Properties Inc. to bring a $950 million Four Seasons hotel and condominium building to lower Manhattan has been resuscitated by a loan from a London-based investment fund, according to a Wednesday announcement.

Silverstein and its joint venture partner the California State Teachers Retirement System have secured $660 million in financing from The Children’s Investment Fund Management (UK) LLP, which will allow construction to start this fall on a Tribeca skyscraper that would become the tallest residential tower...
