$200M Miami Mixed-Use Project Cleared For Construction

Law360, New York (May 23, 2013, 5:51 PM EDT) -- The Miami City Commission gave its final approvals Thursday to a more than $200 million mixed-use project that proposes to bring retail and residential space to the banks of the Miami River.

In a pair of unanimous votes, the council gave the thumbs up to zoning change requests and a development agreement with Mahi Shrine Holding Corp. and River Land Development LLC, a unit of local developer Hellinger Penabrad Cos.
