Director James Ivory Settles Suit Over Film Distribution

Law360, New York (May 30, 2013, 2:26 PM EDT) -- Legendary film director James Ivory and his Merchant Ivory Productions Ltd. production company have agreed to settle a copyright infringement lawsuit against Janus Films LLC, which was accused of continuing to distribute its catalog of classic movies well after a licensing deal between the two companies had expired.
