Freddie Mac Must Give BofA Docs In $1.6B MBS Fight

Law360, New York (May 30, 2013, 6:54 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday ordered Freddie Mac to hand over documents relating to its communications with BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank to Bank of America in a fight over more than $1.6 billion in mortgage-backed notes.

BofA sought the documents in connection with an ongoing dispute over notes for a facility that it claims Ocala Funding LLC and its now-defunct parent Taylor Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corp. marketed without conducting a reasonable investigation to make sure they were suitable for purchase.
