US Beats Challenge To Army Hospitality Contract

Law360, New York (June 4, 2013, 7:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims tossed a suit Friday alleging that a hospitality contract for a U.S. Army processing station was unfairly awarded to Hotel Contracting Services Inc., saying the company was selected because it presented the best value, not because of conflicts of interest or faulty proposal evaluations.

The court dismissed a July suit brought by Command Services Inc. accusing an Army agency of providing HCS with an unfair advantage over other contract proposals, according to the decision filed Friday and made public Tuesday....
