Credit Card Defendants Oppose Special Master

Law360, New York (January 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Defendants in the payment card interchange fee litigation have opposed the class plaintiffs' motion requesting the appointment of a special master and the adoption of certain privilege dispute procedures that stem from the Vioxx product liability litigation.

Attorney Wesley Powell of Hunton & Williams LLP wrote on behalf of defendants Mastercard, Visa USA, Visa International, Bank of America, Citigroup and Wells Fargo.
