Sailors' Class Action Challenge To Navy Layoffs Sunk

Law360, New York (June 7, 2013, 2:34 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims threw out a putative class action Thursday brought by hundreds of former U.S. Navy service members allegedly discharged without a required hearing, ruling that the court couldn't intrude on the Navy's power to manage its workforce.
