NJ Assembly Panel OKs Pay Equality Bills Felled By Veto

Law360, New York (June 10, 2013, 1:54 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey Assembly panel advanced two bills Monday that sought to eliminate gender-based pay disparities by imposing reporting requirements on state contractors and easing employees' ability to file pay discrimination claims despite arguments that the legislation could cause disruptive litigation and infringe privacy.
