Alters Morelli Pays $1M To Settle Fee Fight Over BofA Deal

Law360, Miami (June 10, 2013, 6:50 PM EDT) -- Miami-based Alters Morelli Ratner PA agreed Thursday to pay an Argentine law firm $1 million to settle a dispute over a fee-sharing agreement between the firms regarding Bank of America NA's $410 million settlement in overdraft fee multidistrict litigation.

Raponi & Hunter Abogados PA agreed to drop its suit against Alters Morelli, the lead plaintiffs' counsel in the MDL, in exchange for a $1 million payment for the services the Argentine firm provided at the beginning of the litigation, according to Alters Morelli's attorney Andrew Hall...
