Justices Say Water Export Bans OK Under Multistate Compact

Law360, Dallas (June 13, 2013, 12:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday upheld Oklahoma laws that restrict water exports from the state, rejecting arguments from a Texas water district that the ban violated a four-state water-sharing compact by preventing Texas from collecting its fair portion from a shared river.
