St. Regis Hotel, Union Beat Servers' Tip Conspiracy Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (June 27, 2013, 6:59 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday threw out a lawsuit against Manhattan Sheraton Corp. and the New York Hotel & Motel Trades Council brought by banquet servers who accused the hotel and union of conspiring to deny servers gratuities previously promised to them in an earlier settlement agreement.

The banquet servers filed suit in August 2012, alleging that the St. Regis Hotel and the AFL-CIO perpetuated an overt conspiracy to undermine a 2008 settlement agreement that resolved an earlier civil action over a labor dispute....
