Pa. McDonald's Revises Debit Card Payment Policy

Law360, Philadelphia (July 1, 2013, 2:51 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania McDonald's franchisee facing a class action over allegedly violating state laws by paying employees solely via debit cards announced Monday that it would begin offering wages through either direct deposit or checks.

Albert & Carol Mueller Ltd. Partners, which owns 16 McDonald's franchises in northeastern Pennsylvania, will give their employees the choice of direct deposits, pay checks or the pre-existing pay card system, effective immediately.
