Fandango, Domino's Sued Over Ordering App Technology

Law360, New York (July 2, 2013, 2:07 PM EDT) -- Mobile applications from Fandango Inc. and Domino's Pizza Inc. that utilize voice integration technology to assist users in ordering movie tickets and pizza violate a California company's patent, according to a pair of lawsuits filed Monday.

Ameranth Inc., which sells Internet applications and wireless systems for the hospitality industry, claims Fandango and Domino's have violated a patent that relates to the use of voice recognition technology for ordering food and services.
