Objectors Of $7B Swipe Fee Deal Can't Cross-Examine Expert

Law360, New York (July 3, 2013, 4:35 PM EDT) -- The New York federal judge considering multidistrict antitrust litigation over swipe fees charged by Visa Inc. and MasterCard Inc. said Tuesday that a court-appointed economic expert could not be cross-examined, denying a request from objectors to a proposed $7.25 billion settlement in the case.
