$33M Air Force Contract Fraudsters Get 85 Years Probation

Law360, New York (July 3, 2013, 6:13 PM EDT) -- A couple charged with creating a sham business in Texas to win $33.5 million in U.S. Air Force subcontracts were each sentenced to 85 years of probation and forced to forfeit $6.4 million, officials announced.

Donald Brewer and his wife, Sherri Brewer, were sentenced on June 28 to a lifetime of supervised probation and asked to fork over $6.4 million on charges of conspiracy to defraud the U.S., wire fraud and major fraud, according to a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District...
