Chris Christie on Wednesday accused the state Supreme Court of judicial activism over a decision denying his authority to abolish independent agencies like the state Council on Affordable Housing, but affordable housing advocates and others greeted the ruling as a win for transparency and an important restraint on executive branch powers.
