MGA Wins Defense Coverage For Bratz IP Case

Law360, Los Angeles (July 10, 2013, 10:39 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge ruled Wednesday that two Chartis Inc. companies had a duty to defend MGA Entertainment Inc. in a failed suit alleging MGA stole the idea for its Bratz dolls from a Steve Madden advertising campaign that ran in the 1990s.
