NY Practice Settles For $1M In Medicare Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (July 18, 2013, 5:39 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Attorney's Office reached a $1 million settlement with a medical practice accused of ripping off Medicare by billing for ineffective psychotherapy services to nursing home and assisted living residents who could not benefit from the treatment, according to a consent judgment filed in New York federal court Thursday.
