Roark Adds Miller's Ale House To Stable Of Restaurants

Law360, New York (July 22, 2013, 1:18 PM EDT) -- A Roark Capital Group affiliate has snapped up sports bar and grill chain Miller's Ale House, which rakes in about $300 million in sales a year, from its investor holders, bolstering a restaurant portfolio that includes Arby's and Moe's Southwest Grill, it announced Monday.

Per the deal, the Roark unit is picking up Florida-based Miller's Ale House's 65 national bases from its founder and a KarpReilly LLC fund for an undisclosed price. Roark often makes investments between $15 million and $500 million in companies with revenue...
