Amazon Sues To Stop New Bids On $600M CIA Contract

Law360, New York (July 26, 2013, 12:35 PM EDT) -- Inc. sued to stop the federal government Wednesday from reopening bidding for a $600 million cloud computing contract with the Central Intelligence Agency, after the U.S. Government Accountability Office agreed with IBM Corp. that the original bidding process wasn't fair.

Amazon filed its bid protest under seal in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, but other court documents indicated that it was trying to stop the CIA from soliciting new bids for the lucrative contract for commercially managed cloud computing services after the GAO overturned...
