Fla. High Court Urged To Disbar Atty Charged With $8M Theft

Law360, Miami (July 29, 2013, 2:28 PM EDT) -- A judge on Friday recommended to the Florida Supreme Court that foreclosure defense attorney Timothy P. McCabe, who is charged with stealing millions in client funds, be permanently disbarred.

Circuit Judge Lynn Rosenthal, who served as referee in the Florida Bar Association's case against McCabe, recommended that he be immediately and permanently disbarred and forced to pay the Florida Bar's costs.
