Facebook User Pushes High Court To Nix 'Beacon' Pact

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 7:48 PM EDT) -- A Facebook Inc. user on Friday urged the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the approval of a $9.5 million class action settlement that resolved consumer privacy claims related to the site's now-defunct "Beacon" feature, saying the pact is unfair because it leaves class members with no compensation.
