TISA Doesn't Bar Private State Claims, Calif. High Court Says

Law360, New York (August 1, 2013, 6:09 PM EDT) -- The California Supreme Court on Thursday revived a putative class action over Bank of America NA’s alleged failure to properly notify customers of fee increases, ruling a bar on private actions under the federal Truth in Savings Act doesn’t prohibit state claims derived from the act.
