Rules Would Limit Contractor Comment Before Evals Released

Law360, New York (August 6, 2013, 7:07 PM EDT) -- The government would reveal contractors' past performance evaluations more quickly under proposed rules announced Tuesday by the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. General Services Administration and NASA.

Under the proposed changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation, which are slated to run in the Federal Register on Wednesday, the contractors will have 14 days instead of 30 to comment on past performance evaluations before the evaluations are posted on the government's online reporting system, the Past Performance Information Retrieval System, and made available to source selection...
