Homeowners Receive Class Cert. In Morgan Stanley HAMP Suit

Law360, New York (August 6, 2013, 6:12 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge granted class certification Monday to a group of homeowners who have accused a Morgan Stanley unit of denying new terms to them in a loan modification program, rejecting the company’s assertion that the plaintiffs’ claims weren’t similar enough to each other.
