Hulu Hit With Suit Over Video Distribution Patents

Law360, New York (August 9, 2013, 1:59 PM EDT) -- On-demand video streaming company Hulu LLC was sued by Trans Video Electronics Ltd. in Delaware federal court on Wednesday for allegedly infringing two digital video distribution patents.

TVE, a Washington-based communication consultant company, says that Hulu’s digital content delivery network, which provides free and paid subscription on-demand video to customers through its website, infringes U.S. Patent Numbers 5,594,936 and 5,911,801.
