Ralphs Tells 9th Circ. Arbitration Agreement Valid

Law360, Los Angeles (August 8, 2013, 9:08 PM EDT) -- Ralphs Grocery Co. urged the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to compel individual arbitration of a putative class action alleging it stiffed deli clerks on overtime and meal breaks, saying a trial judge erred in finding that the arbitration agreement the company requires employees to sign was unconscionable.
