TWC Owes Viewers For NBC Blackout, Wis. Suit Says

Law360, New York (August 9, 2013, 3:47 PM EDT) -- Three plaintiffs hit Wisconsin-based units of Time Warner Cable Inc. Thursday with a class action lawsuit claiming the cable giant breached its contract with viewers by shutting off the local NBC affiliate July 25 in a retransmission fees dispute.

Named plaintiffs Steven DeLonge, Paul Scoptur and Stephen Raymonds sued in Milwaukee County trial court claiming Madison, Wis.-based Time Warner Cable Business LLC should be on the hook for rebates to thousands of cable viewers equal to the value of the programming provided by NBCUniversal Media LLC....
