Planned Parenthood Outlet Pays $4.3M To Settle FCA Suit

Law360, Dallas (August 16, 2013, 7:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday asked a Texas federal court to dismiss a False Claims Act whistleblower suit against an affiliate of the Planned Parenthood Federation, after it reached a $4.3 million settlement for the clinic’s alleged overbilling of Medicaid and state women’s health programs.
