Spectra Should Face Jury Over $1B Pipeline Pay, NJ Co. Says

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 6:22 PM EDT) -- The owner of a Jersey City property approved for 575 residential units joined the municipality Monday in seeking jury trials on compensation that a Spectra Energy Corp. subsidiary owes for easements for a $1.2 billion New Jersey-to-Manhattan pipeline.

Property owner View LSP LLC has said designing around the pipeline could cost it 148 units and require new site plan approvals for the unimproved property.
