9th Circ. Security Check Ruling Leaves Employers Puzzled

Law360, New York (August 28, 2013, 8:13 PM EDT) -- A recent opinion from the Ninth Circuit that said the time workers spend passing through post-shift security checks may be compensable has created tension among the appellate courts and left employers scratching their heads, lawyers say.
