Computer Repair Co. To Pay $2.4M To Settle Wage Suit

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 4:38 PM EDT) -- Computer repair company Qualxserv LLC has agreed to pay $2.4 million to settle a class action brought by two former employees who claimed the company owed them unpaid wages, according to a motion for preliminary approval filed Friday in California federal court.

The company will establish a common fund to settle the claims that it violated the the Fair Labor Standards Act and California state law by failing to pay overtime compensation and wages for hours worked off the clock, provide adequate meal and rest breaks...
