Ailing Brooklyn Hospital On Hunt For Manager As SUNY Exits

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 4:37 PM EDT) -- The New York judge who earlier this week nullified the transfer of Long Island College Hospital real estate to the State University of New York – Downstate said Friday that the state has agreed to transfer those assets, now said to be worth $500 million, to a new operator and to work with doctors to reopen the financially distressed Brooklyn facility.
