Overstock Asks Supreme Court To Squelch NY's 'Amazon Tax'

Law360, New York (August 26, 2013, 4:41 PM EDT) -- Overstock.com has asked the nation's high court to take up its challenge to New York's "Amazon tax" on online retailers who use in-state affiliates to increase sales, arguing in a brief that the Empire State and several others have run afoul of national precedent in forcing retailers to collect sales tax.
