Ubiquiti Likely To Duck Shareholder Suit, Judge Says

Law360, San Francisco (August 27, 2013, 10:52 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge said Tuesday she is likely to throw out a shareholder class action accusing Ubiquiti Networks of concealing the impact of a South American counterfeiting operation on the wireless technology company's bottom line, saying the plaintiffs haven't been specific enough in their allegations.

U.S. District Court Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers did not issue a formal ruling during Tuesday's hearing but said she would likely grant Ubiquiti's motion to dismiss because she would like the complaint structured differently.
