Texas Mayor, Officials Charged With Contracts Bribery Scheme

Law360, Dallas (August 28, 2013, 9:00 PM EDT) -- A Texas mayor and two high-ranking city and school officials were jailed Wednesday after they were charged with conspiracy, theft and bribery for allegedly masterminding a pay-to-play system for city and school contracts, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
