New Fraud Suit Pins $1.2M Theft On Disbarred Fla. Atty

Law360, New York (August 29, 2013, 5:41 PM EDT) -- A disbarred Florida foreclosure defense attorney, a title insurer and others were hit Tuesday with a suit by alleged victims of a multimillion-dollar scheme accusing the imprisoned former attorney of wrongfully diverting $1.2 million in mortgage payments and those involved in the transactions of failing to stop the fraud.
