Fox Can Bring Quick Appeal In Unpaid Interns' Case

Law360, New York (September 4, 2013, 5:39 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday said he will allow Fox Entertainment Group Inc. to make a quick appeal of his decision that some unpaid interns who worked for the company were actually employees.

U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III said he would ask the appeals court to weigh in on the standard for determining how an intern is classified under federal employment law.
