Carlson Rezidor Lands Brand Rights For JFK Airport Hotel

Law360, New York (September 12, 2013, 3:33 PM EDT) -- Continuing its recent expansion streak, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has secured brand rights to a New York hotel near John F. Kennedy Airport, taking over the property from Hilton Worldwide Holdings, it announced Thursday.

The property will reopen on Oct. 10 as a Radisson, one of Carlson Rezidor's flags, and will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation immediately afterward. Carlson Rezidor did not disclose the hotel brand it was taking over, but the Queens, N.Y., property is listed in Hilton's portfolio as the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel JFK...
