Law360, New York (October 4, 2013, 4:13 PM EDT) -- In a helpful decision for online publishers of rankings and ratings, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit held that a travel website’s annual top 10 list of the dirtiest hotels in the United States, based on data compiled from its users’ reviews, was subjective opinion that did not give rise to a defamation claim.
