Avis Asks High Court To Review $16M Licensee Dispute

Law360, Washington (September 20, 2013, 5:09 PM EDT) -- Avis Budget Group Inc. has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a $16 million award for licensee Alaska Rent-A-Car Inc. after Avis allegedly breached a settlement through the merger creating the company, arguing it was wrongly denied its right to exclude a juror from the case.
